WiFi Access
A. Guests from other universities who have already set up ‘eduroam’ can continue to use the ‘eduroam’ WiFi at the University of Fribourg.
B. Access to the ‘public-unifr’ WiFi network can be requested via smartphone (mobile phone):
- Switch on WiFi on your personal mobile phone and select ‘public-unifr’.
- Scroll down and select ‘Register via SMS’.
- Enter your mobile phone number and select ‘Request access code’. Please note that each code can only be used on one device. If you want to connect your smartphone, a notebook and a tablet, you will need to request three codes. The three codes will be linked to your phone number.
- Enter the access code sent by text message and select ‘Complete registration’.
