Conference venue

The event will take place online using Zoom and GatherTown.

GatherTown is an interactive online platform enabling an in-person-like conference experience in an online setting. 

We will use GatherTown both for social/networking sessions and for the poster session of the conference.

Each presenter will have a poster booth similar to an in-person conference with the added benefit that each booth has its own private voice-chat area to allow fruitful discussions. 

It is generally recommended to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for GatherTown. Safari works too but runs into problems such as heavy RAM usage and objects not being displayed properly.

Talks will be held via Zoom while discussions will be held in breakout rooms.
