How to get to Fribourg?

Fribourg is located in the west part of Switzerland, at the border between the French-speaking and German-speaking areas. The city can be reached by train in about 1h45 from Zurich and Geneva airports, with frequent (every 30 minutes) connections. For the train schedule, please consult  the official Swiss Railways timetable and make sure not to confuse the Swiss Fribourg/Freiburg with the German Freiburg. 

Fribourg is a small city, where most places can be easily reached on foot. From the main station to the Perolles campus, it takes about 15 minutes on foot. There are frequent bus connections within the city. The bus map can be found here and the relevant bus stop (in front of the Perolles campus) is “Charmettes”.
