Fribourg is a town located right in the heart of Switzerland. Built over an impressive natural gorge it offers stunning views of its heritage medieval quarters overlooking the cliffs and following the meandering river at the bottom of the gorge. The Swiss Alps and their snowy summits present a striking backdrop.
The University is spread across town and the conference will take place in the main historic building right in the center of town, a stone’s throw away from the pedestrian area and conveniently located 5 minutes away from the station and the main bus station.
All talks will take place in the main, historic University building situated between Avenue de l’Europe and Rue de Rome. Fribourg is easily walkable and walking from your accommodation to the conference venue will be one of the best ways to get to know the town and to feel its atmosphere.
Coming from the station, the building will look like this:
The conference will be held in the MIS 03 section of the building. All talks will be presented in Auditorium 3115 and Auditorium C situated on the first floor. Lunch will be served in the Mensa in the building opposite.
